We love a clunky French to English translation. According to Gerald Lafont and Baptiste Olivier, they are ‘making pleasure wine for consumers’. I’m sure that’s not exactly what they were hinting at, but we get the picture. This syrah eschews that typically rigid French practice of working within one region by sourcing fruit from both the Rhône Valley and the Languedoc area. What results is a stylish, and yes pleasurable, wine that isn’t limited by geography. It has dark red fruits, stunning minerality, great drive and a finish of smooth tannins. So cast aside what you think you know about French winemaking tradition and dig in to something far more pleasurable and exciting.

At Vinomofo, and at Starts at 60 we love our wine, but we like to also lead long and happy lives, and be good to the world and the people in it.
We all try to drink responsibly, in moderation, and we really hope you do too.
